Baby Ninja, World IBD Day & J-Pouch Pregnancy

It’s just emotion that’s taken me over…

Ok, so I know last week I talked about my thoughts on how my advocacy would be affected by a new baby. This week, I have more thoughts and emotions as it relates to pregnancy, j-pouch life and childbirth I feel like I need to discuss. Thank you again for listening to more of my ramblings.

I never could have come this far without you…

Before I begin my emotional ramblings, first I want to thank all of you. Whenever I post something emotional or when I’m feeling blue or bad about myself or just plain having a bad day, you step in with just the right words. Because of all of you, I’ve been able to find the strength to keep up my advocacy efforts. All of you tell me how brave and strong I am. Honestly? I don’t feel it most days. Especially lately. Thank you always for all your kind thoughts, prayers and words of comfort. You mean more to me than you know.

I’ve been working like a dog…

In last week’s blog post, I mentioned being overwhelmed with all the things I have going on. It takes a lot of work to bring a baby into this world! And there’s so much to think about. That being said, beginning in June, I will cease consistent new blog posts temporarily. I’ll take a break from actual blogging until sometime after the baby gets here. I will keep you all updated when I can and do my best to either have some guest blog posts and/or just rotate old blog posts that you may have missed. Be looking for those links to be posted on social media.

Preg001

I hope we’ll keep in touch…

I will still check my email, so please never hesitate to contact me if you need to vent or if you have questions. I’ll also be posting several things on Instagram (so be sure to follow me over there if you don’t already!!!). I will also try to post at least SOMETHING once a day on Twitter or Facebook. So be sure to connect with me there, also.

NEXT WEEKEND (5/19)

Next weekend is World IBD Day. I will be blogging about it (why people should care about it). I’ll also post several things on social media for you guys to share and help raise awareness for Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis. Keep your eyes peeled for all of that.

Pregnancy & J-Pouch Post

Finally, the last blog post I want to write before June, will be about pregnancy and j-pouches. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my personal experience. I think a lot of you ladies out there would benefit from a blog post like this. That said, if you have any burning questions you’d like to ask, feel free to email your questions here for me to answer for that!

And Baby Makes Three

The closer I get to my due date, the more I realize that I have to get done. And then, obviously, when baby gets here, I’m going to be swamped with learning how to be a Mama. I’m afraid, but excited about this new chapter in my life. I am so glad that I’m able to share this experience with you and I so appreciate your patience and support during this time. You all mean SO much more to me than I could possibly express!
