This week (December 1-7) is Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Week. It was started by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America and passed by the U.S. Senate in November of 2011. This is the first time I’ve participated because I didn’t know it existed until a few months ago.
I’ve pondered and pondered about how I want to participate and I’ve finally come up with a plan. FIRSTLY: I will be Tweeting random things about IBD and awareness-related items throughout the week during Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week. So if you don’t follow me on Twitter already, head on over there and check out the awesome things that will be happening during that week.
SECONDLY: All week long, you’ll have a chance to win one of EIGHT “I’m an IBD Ninja!” awareness bands!
Not only do you have a chance at winning some really cool FREE (glow-in-the-dark) #IBDNinja gear, but you’ll be helping to raise awareness in the process! Sound fun? Of course it does!

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!!! Each day during Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week, I will post an #IBDNinja graphic. All you have to do is follow my Twitter page and RT the daily #IBDNinja graphics that are posted on the Colitis Ninja Twitter page between the hours of 12:00am – 11:59pm (CST). PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE HASHTAG “#IBDNinja” SO THAT I CAN FIND YOUR ENTRIES WHEN I SEARCH FOR THEM!!! Limit one band per person. THERE WILL BE SEVEN (7) WINNERS ON TWITTER! Meaning you have seven chances to win.
Your Twitter name will go into a drawing. Entries will be drawn at random at 11:59pm each day. Winners will be announced on Twitter the next day. Winners will be notified via Twitter.
ON FACEBOOK ONLY:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY!!! On Monday, December 1st during Crohn’s & Colitis Awareness Week, I will post an #IBDNinja graphic. All you have to do is like and share the #IBDNinja graphic. On Saturday, the 6th at 11:59pm (CST), a name will be drawn at random. The winner will be announced and contacted the next day via Facebook. Limit one band per person. THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE (1) WINNER ON FACEBOOK! Meaning you only have one chance to win… if you want more chances, head on over to Twitter!
